Specializing in traditional timber framing, heritage carpentry and hand carved detailing, combining historic craftsmanship with bespoke design. Every project is approached with a focus on traditional methods, careful craftsmanship and attention to detail, ensuring each timber frame and feature is built to last for generations.
Our services include:

Making bespoke oak doors using time-honoured traditional methods. We like to hand-planed all oak to ensure a finish suited for listed period properties where attention to detail and authenticity are essential. One method we like to use, shown here is using traditional nail and clench techniques, with genuine forge iron nails. This approach not only preserves the character of period buildings but also guarantees strong, durable, and long-lasting doors. Each door we create is a unique work of art to respect your property.

We have a keen interest in historic carving and traditional methods of carpentry. We're always excited for the opportunity to put the electrical tools down and go the old fashion way.
We find ourselves inspired by intricate medieval carvings and are always happy to incorporate this into the framing. Carving helps to make your project more personal.
Working on historic and listed buildings is a responsibility we take great pride in. These structures carry centuries of craftsmanship, and restoring them requires an understanding of the traditional carpentry methods that were originally used to build them.
Our work focuses on traditional timber framing, heritage carpentry and hand crafted joinery, allowing us to repair, restore and recreate timber elements in a way that respects the character of the original building.
From structural timber frames to intricate carved details, every piece is approached with the same care and attention that craftsmen would have used hundreds of years ago.
Our aim is always to ensure that any new work sits naturally within the building, maintaining the character and craftsmanship that define historic architecture.
